It is the season we think of family, friends, celebration, and giving. SIKC and SIKC Foundation has helped several other non-profits with a diverse range of missions through our Service Objective Grants. We are so proud of the impacts we make in our community to help women move forward in their lives and career paths.
As you consider gifts and donations to your charity of choice, we ask you to also consider SIKC so we can continue to help support women in the Kansas City metro area who are trying to achieve a better life for themselves, and their family are able to reach their goals.
In addition to our Service Objective Grants, we also have our annual signature Live Your Dream award. Our 2023-24 LYD recipients are currently being selected by our SIKC committee members and judges. This award offers financial assistance to head of women who are head of household and pursuing an education. This is an unrestricted financial award so it can reduce the stressed that may prevent women from completing their education or training.
