This month’s community service project, SIKC is going to host a Back to School Supply Collection Drive. Items collected will serve more than 3,000 school children in the Kansas City area.
Members are encouraged to pick up key items and bring to the August business meeting. August 5-7 is Missouri’s annual tax free weekend, and a great opportunity to pick up key items that will make all the difference for our children heading back into the classroom.
This project is organized by the Community Service Committee under the leadership of Kay Stewart. Committee members: Caitlin Miller, Jerri Cofran, Nora Magee, and Danielle Sidney.
